My summer

My summer break plans are to go to Cincinnati, Ohio with some friends to go see Kevin Hart in concert. I also plan on going to south haven to see the July fireworks and taking my girlfriend to a few drive in movies. I plan on going to Texas with one of my closets friends. I also wanna go to a water park this summer. What would really top my summer off tho would be to go ride a jet ski

Android vs. iPhone

Team Android because their phones are bigger and of better quality to me. I also think they are less confusing then iPhones and unlike iPhones have the Swype feature. When using an iPhone you have to basically buy everything you want from iTunes such as your music with Android you don't. The Android camera is better than iPhone camera and they're constantly upgrading it. Lastly I like how Android phones fit in my hand opposed to the fit of iPhones.

My favorite project was the first project because I did good on it and also I liked being able put alot of description in my narrative. My least favorite was the second project because I did bad on it and especially because I thought I was doing so good on it and that was not the case lol. I learned about being more descriptive in my writing and doing research helps bring out afoot more into my writings. I wish I would have learned more about punctuations.

sleep

I truly believe sleep is one of gods greatest gifts like if i could sleep for just a few days straight that would be awesome. It's crazy because sometimes i'll even wake up to go to school or work and already be saying man i cant wait to get back home in bed. I like relaxing just as much just watching TV texting or playing the game all comfy in bed. I guess you could say my private or alone time means everything to me because with so much always going on those few hours of sleep or relaxing make my days. One thing i really can't stand though is being woke up for no reason out of my sleep i absolutely hate it. That's almost the quickest way to piss me off is say for example i get home from work i go work out i do my homework get some rest before school and here comes my little sister or mom banging on my door wanting or needing something that could have waited. long story short i love sleep!

HAIRCUT

For me one of the best feelings in the world is getting a fresh hair cut. When my hair gets too long and my face isn't shaved i feel like a cave man and i just don't want to go anywhere or do anything. idk maybe it's like a confident thing you know like "you look good you feel good you feel good you do good" type of thing. Sometimes though i do want to grow my facial hair just to see its potential but my girlfriend says shes not having that lol. what i hate though is how my hair can grow so fast i swear it seems i need a haircut on a weekly basis most times and that sucks! that's 9 dollars a week and 36 dollars a month i could be spending on something else.

am i the only one who has to be listening to music when writing or doing homework? mos times i cant focus if there isn't any music playing i guess you could say it helps me think. watching TV though is a whole other thing there is no way i'm able to get ANYTHING done when something good is on and has my attention. Although when i am listening to music i usually go for something slower i sometimes lose concentration when the beat of the song is more vibrant and also too loud. I wonder if there is a study that shows if music can help one to focus. I heard about playing certain music for baby's helps there brain develop? don't quote me that though.

behind in blogs

we were told that we need to have 24 post which i do but i think almost half were a few days late so i think i need to at least add a couple of extras to make up for those. Am i the only one who feels the end of this semester just crept up on us so fast? me personally i'm not happy with the C that i now have in class so as much extra credit and getting full points for my blogs and final is so important to me. If i could pull off a B that would make me really happy. Right now my GPA is a 3.1 i would hate to see it drop especially when i'm trying to see it grow not decline.

power point

How many slides do you guys think a power point is to get a good grade? I was wondering because i decided to do that for my extra credit work. Right now i have eight slides along with a video for a visual. i seriously need that extra credit like i don't even want to miss just a point. I wish i had more time to do something like a poster or something cool you know? anyway though i think your just suppose to cover the who what when where and why's and i think i at least did that. well wish me luck lets hope for the best.

Trayvon Martin

I don't know if this is considered a national tragedy but I do know it was pretty big case. The trayvon Martin case touched home with me because we were the same age And he was just taking a walk to the store when he was killed just as I would. Then I really felt bad when his killer got let off I felt very bad for his family. Also the tragedy's happening with police killing and beating people has got me shook because if the police are there to protect us then who can we really trust. So yeah I don't know if those count as national tragedy's but they meant a lot to me.

summer

So I decided to take summer classes ! I know it sucks but only being a part time student really makes me feel like I'm just getting so behind. like to get my degree It takes a full time student 3 years but me going part time it will take 5whole years which is terrible lol. Honestly though that is so much time from now. I'm patient and all but I really don't think I can make it 5 years in school. Anyway I'm hoping to just get registered in some easy electives to just knock out the way HOPEFULLY.

car detail

Well on my to do list in the month of may is to find some nice rims for my car and get the inside and outside detailed. I know how to wax my car pretty good but I was thinking of a probably taking it to a professional that has automatic buffer. Summer is coming and a lot of guys are pulling there cars out and getting them looking nice so I think I better go ahead and do the same. I just recently got my tint done which makes my car look a whole lot better because of the darker paint. Well yeah I'm definitely excited about getting rims but I know it'll be so hard for me to decide the perfect ones

So anyone that has been reading my blog post from the start might remember when I talked about how I was starting the first actual class that I plan to get a degree in. Well the class went very well I passed with a B+ I was hoping for an A but I guess I won't complain. It's crazy thinking about how hard I thought some of the first projects were because I know now I'd breeze past them. I found that I actually got better and better every class. It really excites me because I feel like I've actually acquired a good tool and skill that I can master in these next years to get my degree. 

offensive language

I don't get offended too easy but i guess you could say that I have offended others with some of things i have said. I use to use the word gay alot like almost for anything i didn't like. For example i'd say this homework is gay or aw man its raining that's gay or something of that sort. Anyway though i had just met a guy at my first job and i was training him and he was telling me about a situation with him losing a previous job and i was just like aw man that's gay. And before i knew it i was in my bosses office and he was getting on me about using offensive language at work. Turned out the guy i was training was gay needless to say i felt pretty bad.

women

I don't want it to seem like from my Last post i just bash women because i don't women definitely are beautiful Creatures. I've said it probably a million times but there's nothing more attractive than a woman who smells good. I bought my girlfriend some chanel perfume which was probably the best decision i've made lol. Although looks and good smell and hygiene are important a female who is self motivated and self confident ane sets and acheives her goals is beautiful in my book. I always say smart is the new sexy a woman with a good head on her sholders  can be very attattractive especially if she can hold good conversation as well. Honestly though i wanted to apologies to anyone who took offense to the last post bashing women was not my intent.

women confuse me

I really hate double standards in a relationship! I feel like women can switch any situation for it to be okay for them to do but for a guy to do it it would be the end of the world. Like some women will get jealous of a girl you've known since like middle school but given the situation they expect you to not get jealous of a guy they met just a month ago. And i hate sometimes females will always be out with the girls and make plans  but as soon as a guy makes plans they want to throw a fit like a guy is just suppose to plan all there free time around a girls schedule. I use to think i had a way with females and could understand them but i was so wrong.

Springbreak

I can't tell you how much i been waiting for spring break to come!! I feel like I can finally do the things I never get a chance to during the week. I plan on actually sleeping after work, spending more time with loved ones , and handle a few things I have been putting off. I'm so ashamed to say that i have negletted to clean the inside of my car since like January!  Which is horrible it's so messy i can barely stand it so also ill be spending a good amount of time cleaning her out good. Something that sucks though is i know it'll be over as soon as it starts but hey at least it's coming.

Hot pockets

Hot pockets have to be the easiest and best quick meal on the go there is. When i wake up late and have to rush to class i pop one in the microwave while i get dressed and its ready to go as i walk out the door. Also it comes with like a sleeve you can put it in that way you can hold it with them being so hot. My favorite kind is the peperoni it has a great taste and i mean you can't ever go wrong with peperoni anyway. I usually will take one to work with me as well since my lunch is only 20 mins i need something quick and fast to eat and they work perfect for me.

leg day

So since last summer I've been going to the gym pretty consistently and the results have been pretty good. Anyone who knows me says I look bigger which is a good thing. Working out makes me feel pretty good and gives me confidence. Well anyway I like to workout but there's one day or routine I always dread and that's leg day. Leg day sucks and the only reason I do it is because a person uses so much power through lifting through their legs so it always helps to have stronger legs. Well leg day consist of running, squats, lunges, leg press, hamstring curls, and calf raises. A lot right? I know ! And the day after is the worse I can't walk straight I can't sit down and I pray I don't drop something and have to pick it up lol. What exercises do you hate? (Comment)

guilty pleasure

My guilty pleasure would probably be eating candy. Since I was little I'd always love to be suprised with a bag of skittles or a pack of starburst. My addiction to candy has resulted in a route canal horrible tooth aches and a few cavities through the years. I've honestly tried to quit but it doesn't last long. I always feel bad when I eat like a whole bag of skittles Because I don't wanna end up with another cavity. I don't know I guess I just can't stop my self from eating sweet delicious candy lol.

music

So I'm having a hard time deciding what song would be good to pick for my analysis. Honestly the music I listen to is kind of all the same talking about money, attracting women, and partying. I guess you could say I listen to some deep music or from time to time some love songs but not too often. Also I usually only listen to music now when I'm driving around or working out and its usually not music that's deep in meaning at all. Now that I think of it I do listen to a little of  J.cole and he gets deep in his raps on different songs. Now all I have to do is find out what song to use.

social media

I think social media is having a huge effect on the world today some good and some bad. What I think is good about social media is it helps upcoming artist or comedians or entertainers get looked at and able to become stars much easier. Also along with the selling of product helps when you can get access to it through social media. What I don't think is good about social media is the fact that a lot of negativity is promoted on sites. I find it really sad to hear about people that get cyber bullied and things like that. Also there are a lot of inappropriate things that are just open to the public on social media that a younger kid can just access which isn't good also.

Monday Feb.23 post

Maybe I'm just fat but sometimes I just think about food especially when I am hungry! My favorite would have to be chilli oh how I love some chilli especially when I crunch some nacho flavored Darito's up with it I promise it's the best. My favorite deserts would have to be superman ice cream or root beer floats or a blonde from Applebee's. If you haven't had it you have to try it , it's like a warm sweet maple tasting cake topped with a scoop of ice cream and then its this sweet maple glaze you pour on top it's mouth watering just to think of. Broken laptop

So my laptop has been broken for some weeks now and I have been going to the library to do my class work. With that said you'll have to bare with me on the late blog post. I try my best to get it done on time but I swear there is just not enough time for me to do so. I really have to say I envy anyone who gets to sit all comfortable in your pj's at home and do he lol. Honestly though the worst is when I had to type that 5 page paper sitting at the library and you only have a certain amount of time they give you which makes it even worse! Pretty sure I'll be taking it up to geek squad to get looked at here soon.

50 shades of grey

Since We are starting to analyze and critique different things I thought I'd start off with 50 Shades Of Grey. I give the movie two out of five stars and I would recommend waiting for it to come out on DVD and just renting it. Though it was not horrible it just did not live up to the acclaimed hype. For all those Looking for a good old fashioned love story this movie is not for you. This movie is more based on a lot of the new age so called love where the man basically just wants to own a woman's body but doesn't want to deal with love and feelings like a normal couple. The idea of love is very much twisted in this movie which says that great sex and the right amount of money is key to girls heart which is true in some cases. Anyway there is a lot of steamy sex scenes along with great scenery of places throughout out the movie. In all it's definitely different from any love movie I have ever seen , but not a total complete waist of time.

books I've read

The worst book I have ever had to read was Hamlet. It was probably the most confusing thing I have ever read. I think I might have understood one hundred words out of the whole book , but when I finally seen the movie things became more clear. My favorite book I had to read would have to be Mice Of Men. I just liked the story because it kept me wanting to keep reading and was interesting , yet sad at the same time. I also liked the wide variety and range of characters in the story which brought light and conflict and brought out relationships between characters.

love poems??

So I want to do something special this weekend for my girlfriend. Well not to long ago we were watching something on TV and i noticed how her face lit up when a guy was reading his wife a poem. She told me that she loves poetry she thinks it can be so romantic, and though I can be romantic I don't know the first thing about writing a love poem. what's a narrative?

A narrative's purpose is to kind of give a series of events that all tie into one theme. I think the purpose of a story or goal is to give a reader a sense of actually being there and can picture it in their minds. Narratives also shed light on characters and the relationship between each other using dialogue. I myself enjoy a good story from an older individual because a lot of life lessons can be learned and I like to get a picture in my mind of the old days. A narrative should also include though a detailed picture of the setting and surroundings. So like I said the main objective of a narrative is to get that picture going in someone's mind.

A little about me

Just wanted to share a bit of information about myself since I haven't already. Well you already know my name but I have plenty of nicknames like J, Jrock, Jdub, JoJo, and a whole lot of nick names from my girlfriend I'm to embarrassed to speak of lol. I also work the graveyard shift I'm use to it now but I seem to be ALWAYS tired, so if you see me dozing off in class throw something at me nudge me I won't mind. So anyway my goal is to get a degree in CAD and find a job then further that degree to become an product engineer. I really value my friends and family sometimes I'm so busy though and I never get to see them. Well yeah that's a bit about me, tell me your nicknames your hopes and dreams who means the most to you? What makes up a good story

To me what makes up a good story is having the basic fundamentals, exposition, rising action, conflict, climax, falling action, and resolution. But of course, adding in some creativity and imagination to make it more interesting and fun to read. There should also be a purpose in writing the story whether it's to entertain, be educational, or to give hope. A good story makes people want to read it and keep reading it, it keeps them interested the whole time without having a dull moment. Stories can be told in all different types of ways, books, CDs, podcast, but the best ones are told from people who have experienced things first hand. Like older people who like to tell all their stories from the good old days, when gas wasn't even a $1 a gallon and everything cost 5 cent. What's your all time favorite story? (Comment)

second post

Reading through my last post i realized a whole lot of mistakes that was made as far as grammar and proper sentence structures go. To be honest I'm a bit embarrassed. I'll also be honest and say that since i can remember i have never liked English or been too good with it. All I'm asking is those who read my blog bare with me i don't mean to sound illiterate i promise. Now what I'm wondering though what is proper blog etiquette? Is it alright to put lol's or use abbreviations of words? I'd imagine not but that's my question for this post.(Comment)

I hope this is the correct way to write a blog

 I decided to blog while sitting in my engineering graphics class. Safe to say I'm pretty excited about this class I'm hoping and praying I can do good and pertain all the knowledge given to me this semester. I plan on getting a degree in this subject so I feel it is very important for me to pay close attention along with enjoying it as well. What I am looking forward to though is all the lab and hands on class work my teacher has said that we will be taking part of. Quick fun fact though my teacher shared with us that in the U.S there is shockingly only six percent of people who actually enjoy their careers. although those six percent were mainly those create and produce things which makes me excited that being product engineering designer I can actually be satisfied with my career. anyway I'm interested in hearing about your classes this week what's your favorite? what career have you chosen?
